Default confuzzled about readings, and what I see in the tank (great green brown fish)

Hi,

I have recently converted one of my tank to a planted tank, which seems to
have been the best thing I've ever done for the tank, the fish seem happier,
and the readings have become alot better.

Nitrite: 0ppm
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrate:10ppm

the thing that is confuzzing me it that I'm still experiencing algae in the
tank. its less green algea now, and more brown algea.
and idea whats wrong? could this be over feeding?

As some of you might know my main tank was over stocked, so I have moved
some of the fish outta that tank to another one,
which has put the tank as a good stocking level.

any help on this would be great.

Thanks,

Go to http://www.barreport.com and read the article on Estimative Index.
You'll have to create a free account to do so. It's an outstanding
article and has all you need to know about fertilizing plants to outgrow
algae.
