Default Female Bettas Hunting in packs (big tail small)

Hi,

I bought 3 females bettas, as some of you may know. I put them in my
community tank, and soon after my neons started to die? the first was eaten
to nothing but the head, the second had no tail, etc.. I have gone from 7 to
3 neons since I introduced them, the last one to go, I saw two of the female
bettas (the larger two) swimming together, one had the neon in its mouth. I
tried to take it away, and the betta finally let go, the neon was still
alive.

So I thought I'll take them out in the morning, and this morning one of my
two Kribs was dead with a large bite out of its side.

At the moment the two large ones are in the male bettas tank, with him, and
the third which is only just big enough to eat daphina lol I have left in
the tank.

I know Male bettas can be kept in relatively small containers, but what
about females? as I think the male will kill them if I leave them there too
long (he is very grumpy, lol)

any ideas?

or anyone who lives lives in the Chester area in the UK who can give them a
good home?

Thanks,
