I placed a male Betta/Siamese Fighting fish in the tank about three
hours ago with five Clown Loaches and two Plecos. Now I search the tank
and have even removed all of the stuff that he could hide behind or
under. I even took out the Plecos, but I can't find the Betta anywhere.
He has no where in the tank to hide, unless the Loaches ate him. But I
have never heard of Clown Loaches eating a healthy, full-grown
Betta,...Have any of your? I have even searched outside the tank, even
though there's no way the Betta could of jumped the seven plus inches
out the water and out of the tank.~Dean.

I once lost a rosy barb, and the mystery was only solved a few days later
when I turned the pump back on after a water change and suddenly there were
pink glittery scales all over the tank. The fish actually survived this,
minus half of its tail.

Mine didn't,...C'est la vie. Seems the tubing came off the intake
value, which sucked the poor thing right in. Thanks for your help.Pax
