Default whitespot and live rock, not forgetting the fish. (fish live)

Depends on what they used to treat it with.. copper I *think* shouldn't be
used on live rock because it can kill off all kinds of hidden critters, but
I may be wrong. He sounds like a reasonably responsible store owner for a
change though. There are alot who would have just removed the sick fish from
the tank leaving customers none the wiser that there was a problem with that
tank and the things left in it.

Copper or cupermine(sp)
SHOULDN'T BE USED!
It will kill life in your rock and sand, plus
makes the rock and sand useless just about forever.
Rock/Sand that has been in a tank that has been treated
will leach copper for years and years, killing inverts.

So basically, once exposed to copper, you can never use it again.
