Default Can't afford your gas?

I have no problems with the run flats.. as a matter of fact, a few weeks
back I had a new roof put on the house, so the installers dropped a few
nails that ended up in the Sienna... went to the dealer (running flat) and
they fixed it with 20 minute wait... i heard the horror stories about new
tires, etc, but found a source online for them for only $149 each... I
wanted the AWD because I intend to tow my pontoon boat with this thing and
its easier to use AWD when you are pulling it out of a slippery boat
launch... plus i live in the snow belt, where the city doesnt believe in
salting the streets, etc...

but did i REALLY need it, probably not.. i actually went to get the honda
odyssey that same day, but the dealer pissed me off, so i went to my toyota
dealer and said give me a loaded Sienna with all the options... so i got the
XLE with AWD, navigation, etc and I paid 36k for it... comparable Odyssey
was 42k and the dealer said he was doing me a favor by not charging above
MSRP...

Don't you just love dealers who do us favors like that.

I live in snow country too, but I have no heavy load to haul and don't
have a steep driveway so I never considered the AWD. I have a friend
who does have a steep driveway and he traded his 05 Sienna in for a
Honda Pilot, which has better clearance and four wheel drive, plus it'll
tow more weight. Mine will be here for several more years. So far it's
been very reliable, quiet, smooth ride and responsive, plus my Toyota
dealer is only about 4 miles away and is pretty easy work with. I've
only had it back for the radiator recall and oil changes. Two years old
next month.

You would have been amused at watching me try to pull my sailboat out
of the water in Corpus Christi TX many many moons ago in my 64.5
Mustang... I had to get someone in a jeep to pull me and the boat
out....LOL

.....and NO I didn't slip into the water....but the only reason
was....I had good brakes that locked the front wheels till a kind soul
rescued me. That person got a six pack of 'Lone Star' for his
trouble...

Gee, does anyone brew 160+ Proof (80% alcohol or better) Sake?

Cites, Hachi? (Not that I would call you on it, or anything...)

You need a pretty darn high alcohol level to get ethanol (AKA White
Lightning) to light off in an IC engine - seeing as it's kind of hard
to light water on fire... And a quick Google search showed the
average Sake (meant for human consumption) to be around 32 Proof.

Sake (also called Nihon shu) is probably the most well-know alcoholic drink
to come from Japan but shochu has recently become the best seller in Japan

Is THAT all? Damn man, when you DRINK the stuff it sure seems like a hell
of a lot more!

And who says it's hard to light water on fire? When I was a ****y we had a
band and the drummer was talking about how horrible a cook his Mom was,
saying "She could burn water..."

We get around without AWD on our cars and Sienna. We just buy a set of
dedicated snow tires - less expensive to purchase and easier on the gas.
I was able to go up a steep drive way with dedicated snow tires while
someone with four wheel drive was spinning all four all-seasons - at the
bottom. Some say its a pain to change tires, I say its an excellent time
to inspect the brakes, CV joints, and suspension.
