Erratic 1990 Speedo

I believe this is always been a problem with those, I had it in my 90 4x4
P/U V6 and I also have it in my 4 runner (90) with same engine. I am now
starting to get that whirrring sound, time to get a noew speedo cable.

Relube the speedo cable - good for another year then (liquid graphite) ---
or replace it and good for 3 or so years.

I heard someone sells a lube adapter for TOY speedo cables...any idea
who?
