The US government doesn't turn on a dime. August 2001
would make it 3 weeks before the attacks. Now, if you would have told most rational people that there were losers out there who wanted to fly planes into buildings to kill civillians it probably would sound about as likely as "alians are coming". You don't beleive it until it happens. Now, we know better. We still won't close the borders, exterminate gang members both foregn and domestic who roam our streets, and kick out all non-americans who don't have a valid reason for being here. So, we will never be safe. |
