While there are plenty of happy owners of older Kia models out there, I
must say that the quality problems were evident on every new Kia I saw
in 2003 and 2004. I would not have bought one at that time no matter
what the warranty or price was. Kia has certainly come a long way in a
short time.

The one thing Ive heard about that bothers me some is trade in,or re-sale
value,Kia is not great because of the earlier models. This will surely
improve with time,and if your trading in on another Kia it shouldn't be an
issue at all.
