Then you should have replied to him and not to the entire group.

No manufacturer covers brake pads or rotors. I suspect \
you're one of those idiots that race up to
red lights, brake hard and then accelerate like a bat out
of hell, and then complain about the brakes wearing out fast.
Pretty unlikely that the rotors were deffective, your driving is
probably defective. Do you drive with the parking brake on?

Really? You obviously have no clue, because that's on the high end for mini vans.

That's true. I'm an asshole when it comes to idiot trolls.

Did you drive a Chevy truck lately? Like an 05? because they ride as good as
my 05 Sienna..

and a friend who has a new one is getting over 20 MPG on the highway - with
a v-8...

I have an AWD 05 Sienna that gets no more than 16 MPG on average...

and today's GM trucks are not crap... they may not be as reliable as a
Toyota, but the variance in reliability is small... I think the Sienna's v-6
is underpowered for the heavy van, and as a matter of fact a v-8 may be a
better choice for it... a kind of a v-8 that turns off 4 cylinders when
cruising on the highway...

I rented a Town Car for 2 weeks in 1990 for a trip from Hartford to
Toronto. The computer kept telling me what I was getting for mileage, and
I kept a pen and paper log; at the end of the trip the computer said
(ready?) 25.8 MPG, and my pen and paper calculations said:

25.8 MPG.

My LHS tells me I am getting 25.4 MPG and my pen and paper tells me:

25.4 MPG...

Yes,you're exactly right...I couldn't agree more...it's certainly
easy to see what's going on when some dingledorf trashes another
make, especially in a condescending tone...

Wishful thinking there Dan, and unrealistic as well...what you
suggest is impossible to do in any reasonably efficient way.

GM had the V8-6-4 engine in the 70's that did not have a stellar reputation
for reliability. The current Chrysler Hemi engine has a multi-displacement
engine. I'm guessing that it is shutting off the fuel injectors and
ignition for the unneeded cylinders at highway cruise.
