Hi, My 1990 Nissan silvia has a clunk sound and jerk when you push the
clutch in, most noticeable in 1st gear and while going up a hill.
Does this sound like a broken engine mount? I already replaced the
trans mount and it improved.

I tried to test it with the wheels off the ground but it doesnt do
anything when pushing in the clutch (I guess because of no engine load)
but when you dump the clutch with the wheels off the ground it does
jerk a fair bit. Cheers & a merry xmas

If it was your motor mount, you should also notice a bit more vibration
than usual, especially when idling. The problem can also be worn
bushings in your suspension.

Could be rear crossmember mounts as well. in my 300Z they need to be changed
out and I get a clunk noise when I go into reverse.
