Clementine-2 Hardware Status?
Anybody know the status of the flight hardware for the cancelled
Clementine-2 DoD asteroid probe from the mid-1990's? And I'm looking for imagery of the payload, even conceptual mission profile art, if available. Thanks1 |

I found some info on Clementine 2. The first URL contains line diagrams of the proposed Clementine 2 spacecraft. -"Proposed Clementine Mission" - PDF file. By Thomas C. Duxbury. Dated October 1997. Brief. Includes drawings of the proposed craft. On JPL's Tech Reports server. http://techreports.jpl.nasa.gov/1997/97-1180.pdf -"Clementine II: A Double Asteroid Flyby and Impactor Mission" - PDF file By R.J. Boain. Dated April 1993. A fairly detailed paper about the mission. On JPL's Tech Reports server.
