My Boeing 747 doesn't work with coal !!!

The boiling point of water changes with altitude.
Perhaps you need to grind the coal into a fine powder and blow it into
the burner. This is what they do in power plants. Gets hotter, makes
more steam.
Did you remember to put water in the engine?
