Qatarairways

Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone had any information regarding Qatar Airways, and the
rumour that they might be operating from Dohar to Sydney via
Singapore......would appreciate any info being posted.

As they have virtually unlimited cash [even more than Emirates] the chances
are that they will expand to everywhere that their shareholders wish to
visit. (not vital, but it's DOHA)

yes but the shareholders already have pair of 747SP's available for
visits anywhere they go.

They are a lot more interested in Europe and North America then the
South Pacific. What they plan on using the A380's for is anyone's
guess, the whole country has about the population of Canberra, maybe
less... A single A380 arrival would bury the airport facilities (and
that is from personal experience at Doha).
