Default Fuel fitting

Hello,
For my vent line I use a Slimline unit that essentially is a fitting
with a pressed-in cap. On a recent maganize I recall seeing a
different unit where the cap had an outer thread. This, I thought,
made it easier to remove the cap. Anyway does anyone know who makes
this fitting? Thanks in advance,
MN

Hi MN,

You may be referring to the new "Excel Fueler" also a Slimline
product. I have not used one, but have seen them advertised. It has the
threaded cap you mentioned. You can check it out here:

Later.

Thanks for the response but this is not the one that I was referring
to. With the unit that I have in mind and as you pull the plug, you
also pull the fuel line with it as the "plug" also caps the fuel line.
The outer edges of the plug are serrated so that you use your fingers
to screw the plug back in its fitting as opposed to using a screw
driver in Excel's plug.

You are speaking of fuel dots. I have not seen any that screw in. They
would be twisting the attached fuel line. The ones I have seen have an
o-ring on them and just push in.
