How good is the helicopter-simulator in RealFlight ??

I am an absolute beginner with rc-helicopter flying (also in RC and in
flying), the guy that will help me learn fly rc-heli's uses Reflex and says
that is the best heli-sim but I like the possebilities if RealFlight a lot
but according to him the heli-simulation is "not so good" according to him.

How good IS the heli-sim of RealFlight ??? Downright poor or good enough but
not as perfect in Reflex ? I finf it hard to make a choise now....

I use RealFlight 2 and it's a good sim. Can't compare it to Reflex though.

Is it worth upgrading to G3 from G2?

Can't compare the two 'cuz I have no experience with Reflex, but it's
certainly helped me with both fixed and rotor wing...

Using Reflex myself my vote would go towards:

On the other hand: If you have somebody around to assist you with one
particular simulator then stick with it. It is no good to have the
"better" sim but nobody being available to explain how to /use/ it.

The RealFlight is a very good sim (Personally I think it is better than
the G2). It is easier to install

If you like some free, you can get the FMS Sim -

So, the original RealFlight is better than Realflight Generation 2?

Easier to install? Put in the CD, provide the code and you're done.
Same for the addon discs... Can't be much simpler.

Real Flight G3 has helped me become a decent heli pilot. I too am just
starting out and it has helped me greatly.
