I'm having trouble getting my 210 to transition smoothly. At all in fact.
It starts okay, but usually backwards. When it IS running, the right way,
it'll often stop. If it runs, the right way, and keeps running, it'll die
when I open the throttle.
This engine is not run in, only had about 15 minutes total. MT contest 10
fuel. Menz 20x10 prop. A5 plug. Wide bore fuel tube.

The onloy thing I can think of is the distance between the fuel nipple and
the centre of the tank, but that's only about 3/4". I know that's more than
recommended, but I'd be surprised if that was it.

Any one experienced in the ways of Moki got any blinding ideas???

My mate had the same problem last year and after hours of pratting about
we found the hole in the clunk to be far too small.....even though wede
sussed the BIG BORE TUBING out after a while.(glad you knew that one Dave)

check the clunk hole Dave i bet its not enough cos the 160 is even quite
thirsty.

Sound like it is too far towards lean. and that fuel hasnt got enough castor
in it. You do not need 10% nitro at all.
The best fuel for these beauties has NO Nitro, 18% oil with at least half of
that castor.
M. T. do a special 4 stroke fuel which would fit the ticket!! You are
getting to hot too quick!
Southern modelcraft MoGlo fuels do a Double Lube Hi which also does the
trick nicely!!

thanks mate. I have wondered about the clunk hole, it is a bit weeny. I'll
bung on some big bore brass and see if that does it. Cheers.

Nik, thanks for the tip re Model Technics 4 stroke fuel. I'll give it a go
and see what happens!
