Default Raptor 30 V1 clutch question.....please help

I own a Raptor 30 V1 and have been flying it for a few years now.
Recently I've had a problem with the clutch grabbing and not letting
go, making starting very difficult. I've replace the clutch bell and
the bearing inside it. The clutch is very loose and comes out easily
without having to split the Raptor. I've made sure to push the starter
shaft all the way to the top before tightening the starter hex nut.
This seems to hold the clutch up and prevent it from grabbing.
Unfortunately, the starter shaft continues to spin after I start the
helicopter making pulling out of the starter rod very difficult. I
suspect my problem is that the bearing fitted to the top of the pinion
gear (the gear that connects the clutch to the main rotor gear) needs
replacing. I don't remember if this gear is to fit snuggly on top of
the pinion gear or not (which would require splitting the Raptor body
to remove the clutch)? If this bearing fits snuggly to the pinion,
what keeps it snug (lock tight, glue?). Its been way too long since I
assembled this kit for me to remember. Your help will be most
appreciated. Thanks.
