repairing foam planes..
** newbie alert **
Hi,
On a family visit with my kids to a toyshop I was quite impressed by one of
the toys there and walked out with it for the kids (ie my) enjoyment, namely
a foam electric R/C aircraft (Interactive Toy Products - Stealth Airplane
http://www.hobby-warehouse.com/noname1.html).
I am amazed at how well it flies (and how easily we can crash it). It needs
a bit of TLC now before the next outing. What glue should I use to repair
it? The booklet suggests a 5-minute epoxy or white glue but warns that
cyanoacrylate (i.e. Krazy Glue) will melt the foam. Fortunately only the
nose/leading edge is curently affected. Wings havent broken off (yet).
Many thanks,
Paul
