Rubbing alcohol
Hi, what do the Americans mean by 'rubbing alcohol'. Is it what we in the
UK, know as IPA, Iso propyl alcohol ? Thanks. Ray

It is what the doctor uses to rub on yr arm when you get a needle. Mostly
used around hospitals etc.

Rubbing alcohol is isopropyl (IPA) with some water asdded. Comes in two
strengths that I know of. Most common contains 70% IPA, balance water.
