Default Zagi... i dont get it!

I really don't get it!!

the things flutter around like dry leaves, there aint a fuselage, so you
cant even tell which way is up. They are difficult to trim right, don't
penetrate very well and are consequently fairly slow. They cant even loop!
(unless they have power)
As far as the indestructible argument goes then they loose that as well, as
there are 1000 better looking foamies out there. (ps also they are
American!)

did I forget anything!

Work hard? No. They aren't highly powered but sufficiently so, you can loop
easily from level flight, as many times as you like, and if you can't then
there's something wrong with your setup.

They aren't the fastest models but can seem so when you learn how to fly
them (usually up close, don't expect to fly long wide runs like with IC
planes). They're made for fun, fly em up close, do stupid stuff that you
wouldn't normally do. I suspect that unless you're used to fast high-powered
flight and were expecting something seriously grunty then there is something
wrong with your Zagi, everyone that flies them loves them, they're an
absolute classic.

Yes!

Stan Yeo's excellent foamies from http://www.phoenixmp.com/

The best of British EPP planes from Newton Abbot, sunny
Devon.

I fly the sport Ban-SHE, super stable and extremely
acrobatic too :-)

The -she models don't stay up as well as a zagi in light conditions.

Ray,

Have you tried one of these? Goes much faster than (some/most) Zagis,
also i am sure it will stand up to combat from the way i have "landed"it.
And it has a conventional shape!!

I'll order some straight away, but it appears that you can have the fluting
'long grain' or 'short grain' which is more useful (or some of each). It
appears he packs in 1000 x 500mm sheets so the decision needs to be made
before I order.

Thanks for your help

Ray
