A 44 year old American (Rigoberto Alpizar) who has bipolar was shot and
killed by an Air Marshal. The man (Rigoberto Alpizar) indicated there
was a bomb in his bag.Passenger was confronted by air marshals. Air
Marshals told him to get off the plane. He then got off the plane. The
man (Rigoberto Alpizar) ran down the aisle from the rear of the plane.

"He was frantic, his arms flailing in the air," one Passenger said
..

A team of air marshals pursued and ordered the passenger to get on the
ground. The passenger did not comply and was shot when reaching into
the bag,

The man's wife was with him. She was heard by passengers shouting

shouting, "My husband! My husband!"

Passengers also heard the woman say her husband was bipolar and had not
had his medication.


Based on the information I have now. This looks like a tragic accident.

A few rules come to mind:

1. If mentally ill, take your meds.

2. When on an airplane, don't claim to have a bomb while running on the
plane.

3. If being perused by armed public servants, after claiming to have said
bomb, drop to the ground and reach into a carry-on bag as if to trigger a
detonator.

Are you crazy?

He stated he had a bomb. He then was told to get on the ground.
Instead, he reaching into a backpack. What do you want the air
marshall to do?

This coming one day after the US was threatened again.

I say give the air marshall an award for acting in an appropriate
and expedient manner.

What would you have said if the man did have a bomb and exploded the
bomb while the air marshall stood there trying to talk him out of
doing this?

You would have jump on the other side of the band wagon.

You sit on a plane where a crazy man yells out he has a bomb and
then reaches into a backpack. I'll buy the ticket for you!!!

After reading your rant about Jay Leno I think I understand you a bit
better. You're very strange. What if he had explosives. Remember the
Richard Reid guy in NYC that tried to set off the shoe bomb. You would
be ranting if the guy had taken out 100 people by claiming the air
marshalls didn't do enough to protect the passengers. Damned if you do
and damned if you don't. The loony left always hard at work.

Perhaps you didn't get the partt where he said he had a bomb, wouldn't
comply with orders, and reached into the bag. The air marshalls were
perfectly without the bounds of their authority. And if the woman was
so concerned about her husband, she would have seen to it that he
stayed on his meds.
