Well, some like it, some don't and some have an "I'll have to think
about it awhile".

Did I cover everyone? :-)

Nice but not really very up to date styling..beginning to look sort of
dated..can't tell much difference overall from the old C-5s... several
sleeker looking cars coming on the market...no one really turns their head
to look at a Vette any more...whereas some of the Jap & German cars are real
head turners...hell my old week end driver ( 1972 Pantera ) collects a crowd
every time I park it...even my friends 1965 Mustang gets more attention than
his wifes C-5...in fact I think some people consider my 1984 Vette more
attractive than the C-5..to each his own... I guess it is due in part to the
fact the Vettes are now so common place..my neighor just traded his ZO-6 for
a new Silverado truck ..he wanted some thing more practical..the Vette bored
him...felt it has become a gay guys /Bimbo type of car..no macho stuff in
driving one..just the rich bitch image.

My dentist just bought an very nice red Pantera w/cammed up Ford and
stainless headers, aluminum intake/valve covers, holley, etc. very nice
billet
wheels with 335's on the rear. He stopped by the shop last week and we went
for a ride. Very, very nice car!!! Ambient engine noise was kinda high,
but no
more than any other real cammed up hot rod. No squeaks and rattles,
tracked very
nice. Pleasure to drive. And he only spent like $28,000 on it.

I've always loved the Pantera ever since I saw them new on the show room as
a teenager. But had never ridden/driven one. It sure has me thinking
about one now!!! :-)
A great value for V8 muscle/sound and stunning attention getting style.

$28,000 on it.
<snip?

God, now there's a memory, I passed up a pristine Pantera 13 years ago this
month for $5,000. Had a '91 C4 at the time, still prefer the C4.

Ah, the Pantera, my second lust right from the get go. My first one being
girls. I discovered how much fun they can both be right around the same
time...

Yep. I still remember my first piece of Pantera..... Well, I discovered
them both at the same time, too, but I still get them mixed up.

Pantera's Pizza is a chain in the St. Louis area that has been around about
25 years or so. For a time, they nearly beat out Pizza Hut but then, Pizza
Hut has a big national backing.
