Howdy Steve
I've all ways used locktite blue/ with a rtf bead at the bolt head.
Had a prob with that one time when the bolt was a current path.
Datson thremastat elbow, water inlet with the temp senser threaded into it.
Cleaned it off and used aluminum grease on the threads instead.
I allways have to remember to leave a good ground return path for sensors.
