Default New Camaro 2004 Spring debut

I don't know if any one posted any information on this subject yet. Just
talked to my dad who is a chevy part manager. Said the new camaro is set to
debut in spring of 2004. The front will look something like the Iroc camaro
and the back end will look more like the 67 or 1st gen camaros and will be
front wheel drive.

I would rather see the Camaro die an honorable death never to return, than
to be reincarnated as a front wheel drive POS. - Gary

I shouldn't even have to post this. Is this still roadkill98z28 trying
to disquise himself as someone else? You know I find it hard that they
would make a front-wheel drive camaro too! I just thought that I
knowing that this is A Camaro newsgroup that I would post this
information so that people who feel passionate about the Camaro know
that it is not dead! whether or not it has front wheel drive. We shall
all wait and see when it debuts. Ok.
So, lets not get all riled up. If you got any information to share about
this then post it. My source is my father who's worked for Chevrolet for
a hell of a long time and he would have to reason to lie to me, what
would he benefit??? It is possible that he got some wrong information on
another car. There I hope that makes you a happy person.

Uh.. Me trying to disguise myself as someone else? Wha...? First of all
I'm not trying to disguise myself as anyone, I read this group quite often,
and only post very rarely. (You can google for the few posts I've made
here...) Second of all, you're not even replying to my post! The Camaro
will NOT return in 2004. Your dad is full of crap.

Your dad who works for Chevrolet (As a parts manager no less... Last parts
guy I talked to needed to know which engine I had in my Z28 to sell me a
power-window motor) knows more information than anyone else with access to
the internet, more than anyone else that has access to magazine publication
blahblahblah.. Sure.

I'm going to get riled up if you're accusing me of something I'm not doing,
and you're going to get a whole lot of people riled up for posting some
false information you heard from your dad who heard from god only knows
where.

Didn't mean to ruffle you're feather's there <smile>, no pun intended
bro. Sorry if I offended anyone, it's just the thought of the Camaro
going FWD.

Remember the Nova's, and the Lemans' of the 80's??? I'd be stunned if GM
went that route again, and made it's one true muscle car (the corvette's
become an 'exotic') FWD.

Take care.....

You don't have to go back that far, how about the Monte Carlos and
Impalas today?
