tranny wont shift into overdrive

i have a 1979 k5 blazer with a 350. just put motor bake together from
a head gasket job. now the trans wont shift into overdrive. the trans
fluid is new and full. any advice needed. thanx.

79 K5 came with a turbo 350 automatic which is a three speed tranny.
