74-77 questions / hood clearance

I have a '72 Shark but I use a '77 hood with the low-rise cowl. Has anyone run
a Performer RPM or Air-Gap manifold in a 'Vette from the mid-late 70's?

According to Edelbrock they will NOT fit under the stock corvette hood.

Click "intake manifolds" which will take you to the listing for different makes.

A standard Performer will. I have one of those in my 77.
