You think you have low pressure so you want a *smaller* hose? That doesn't
make since.
I would start by cleaning the nozzle(s) and check/clean the filter on the
end of the hose in the tank.

OEM pump with a smaller hose means less space for the fluid to pass through so
theoretically it should move faster giving me more pressure on the output side
causing it to reach farther up the window.

Only a smaller nozzel at the end "may" increase pressure, however WW pumps
are not designed to give much pressure so the smaller nozzel wil likely just
reduce flow.
If the pump is a factory part then you should be looking at the suction
side.

You know, this is *not* a difficult problem. To be
carrying on over a windshield washer for this long
is trollish in the extreme. If he can't solve this
simple problem he should take it to the dealer.
