Default 1996 Suburban 1500 brake leak

I have a brake fluid leak on my suburban. The fluid is leaking on the
front driver side and both sides of the master cylinder are going
down, not just one. I put a rag under the master cylinder and the leak
is not from the master cylinder. A rag under the booster is catching
fluid.

Is there anyway the leak could be into the power booster? Should I
replace both the master cylinder and booster or is there something
else I should be aware of?

Thanks for any advise.

Fluid is coming from the master.

So just replace the master?

Leaky seal on the primary piston of your master can allow fluid to leak
into the end of the booster. I would bet this is your situation and
doesn't warrant replacing the booster.

Thanks, I think I can handle swapping out the master but wasn't
looking forward to trying to get the booster out. So I know what I'll
be doing tomorrow,
