I'm posting notice for the rich and shameless on this list
that Bonhams is selling some high-grade cigars and humidors
at their Gentleman's Sale in Geneva:
Lot No: 134
Humidor 510 Anniversary
A serie of 510 numbered humidors is presented to celebrate
the 510th anniversary of the arrival of tobacco to the Old
World, when Christopher Columbus took with him to Europe he
had seen after landing on the island of Cuba.
Number 510 of this series was sold for US$ 15 000 at the
gala dinner celebrated during the latest Habano festival, in
an auction in favor of the Cuban public health system.
Each one of these humidors contains 100 cigars in the
following five vitolas :
20 Espléndidos de Cohiba
20 Montecristo No. 2
20 Epicure No. 1 of Hoyo de Monterrey
20 Royales de Partagas
20 Hermosos No. 3 of Romeo y Julieta
The last two vitolas mentioned above are a special
production of their respective brands and were produced
especially for this occasion. The new Royales de Partagas
vitola corresponds to Vitola de Galera Felipe 24, whose
sizes are those of a standard ring gauge, while Hermosos No.
3 of Romeo y Julieta are those of a heavy ring gauge.

Humidor Montecristo
Montecristo is the best known and one of the most
appreciated brands of Habanos throughout the world.
Montecristo's perfectly balanced blend is prepared
exclusively with selected leaves from the Vuelta Abajo
region, home of the finest tobaccos in world.
This humidor contains 100 Habanos in two different vitolas :
50 Montecristo A
50 Salomones No 2
The first one is a well-known vitola among cigar
connoisseurs. Along its dimensions (ring gauge 47 and 235 mm
in the length) offers almost two hours of pure pleasure,
while the other (57 and 175 mm in the length) has been
considered and excellent choise for those who want to
experience a higher smoke. These heavy ring gauge Habanos
will please, without any doubt, the most demanding palates.

A fine Louis Vuitton 'President' travelling cigar humidor
in LV Monogram/pattern withy brass trim, the cedar lined
interior with fitted humidifier and hygrometer having a
capacity for approximately 100 cigars. Signed Louis Vuitton,
French c 1950s.
Estimate: CHF5,500 to 6,500

off a 1956 300 SL Gullwing, a bargain at CHF400,000 to
