A perfect evening (cigar)
..... is an evening with a very good cigar. Yep, today it was one of
those evenings.
The day started a bit crappy. I intended to learn (Theory of law, if
someone is interestd). But I woke up beaten-up and realized that no
learning will be done till after lunch. After lunch the problems
really started. A killing headache developed, and a tummy ache to top
it all. Damn. The strongest painkiller in the house didn't help. So I
decided not to learn today, but to mow the lawn. Not exactly my
favourite past-time occupation, but it is better than sitting around
doing nothing.
When I finally finished my chore (we have quiet a large lawn) I was
tired, but happy. I decided to just sit on the porch and relax with a
cigar and some tea.
Initially I wanted to smoke a Partagsd SD4, but then decided on a
Ramon Allones Specialy Selected. I did not regret it.
This beauty had about a year of age, and already the first puff
revealed the beauty of this cigar. Wow! I definitely gotta get more of
those. The taste was really full, complex, heavy... almost oppulent -
just the way I like it. The cigar was constructed quite well, and gave
lots of smoke and taste. But the cigar has a horrendous nick kick - I
thought I would have to lay down for a few moments after I finished it
and stood up. That's maybe all I can reproach this cigar. It's so
strong I even had problems with the finemechanics of typing at the
start of this post. There might even be more missing letter than
usual... please don't hold a grudge against me.
So I smoked it for about an hour and half, enjoying it with green tea.
A book kept me company - a collection of comics by the greatest
comicbook author in Slovenia - Miki Muster. Perfect combination.
This cigar and these few perfect moments are all the reward I need for
straining myself behind the lawnmover. The RASS may well be the
perfect after-lawnmoving cigar.
