In answer to your question; recent years has shown the ACLU
doing more harm then good for the majority of folks and
communities. I know that because I've seen their acts first
hand in our community. They cause conflict where none should
exist, foster disharmony attempting to change the beliefs of
those who differ, and compound the polarization between the
party members while contributing to our tort problems in this
country.

Unlike the ACLU, the boy scouts help towards developing
character, creative thinking, pro-active behavior in kids
while helping to keep kids off the streets, off drugs and
drinking plus they help guide children into community service.

Paul, since you think the Boy scouts are on par with the ACLU,
there isn't much else to say other then; at some point in the
future, it could come down to who's got more financial
resources to affect change. All I can say is get out your
wallet, and don't think "a grand" is impressive, think min 5
figures into high 6 figure donations, and then some to play
with this boy scout! <grin>

I'll not contribute further to this subject being we're on
opposite ends of a passionate subject.
