Default CAO Brazilia Review(newbie) (cigar)

CAO Brazilia Samba
61/4"x54

Set the stage:
Patio sitting, cool and dry night her near Seattle.
Sipping a MarGarrita(Margaritaville tequila, Potter's Triple Sec) Talk radio
on the portable(fresh batteries).

This is the largest cigar I have smoked and was a little intimidated by it.
Cut the end(at an angle) and tested the draw. Very mild draw with a hint of
cocao, Torched the critter and was welcomed to the party with tons of rich
dark smoke. A touch bitter, maybe peppery? Very smooth and even burn. I
noticed a few veins in the wrapper, but they had no effect on the burn. Nice
long ashes that stuck well.
Had to take a break with 3 inches to go. Picked some peanuts to munch on
while finishing. Had to touch up the burn after my 5 min break, but she was
still burning on her own. Started to get a real rush after the touch up.
Stronger flavor(spicey, woody??). Got hick-ups(this is new...), but they
went away after a few. Finally had to stop with an inch or so left.
This took a loooong time to get this far. Deffinatly an all evening cigar, I
spent an hour and a half with it and figure it had another half hour left! I
will try a smaller version of this cigar again. Anyone want to trade a Gol!
for a Samba?
Thanx for reading,
Garry Nold

Thanks for the review. That is a tough combination to beat! Throw in
the peanuts and you're all set!

The hiccups usually get me if I am smoking too fast (nicotine?)....but
I am a slow smoker. That cigar would probably last me closer to 2
hours.<g>

I figure it was a 2 hour cigar as well, I just had enough for the night.
Thanks for the input, sounds like I was on the right path...

Does a dry night in seatle mean that it's only drizzling?

Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for the great review ! My experience has been similar....but
the only one that I smoke is the Piranha. The rest are just too damned
big.
