Default Hampton Court Macanudo review (cigar cigars)

I was gifted a bunch of these. Tonight I tried the maduro. I didn't care
much for it. The aroma was rather off-putting. the draw was very tight. In
the mouth, the cigar felt gritty and tasted peppry, not so much the flavor
as the sting...rahter unpleasent. The cigar burned well but became plugged
after about an inch. From that point on it was too much work to smoke. I
wouldn't buy this cigar. If it sold for $2.00 it would be fair game for
those looking for an inexpensive smoke. However, there are better cigars at
that price. I've got a couple of others in the same line. I hope they are
better.

Even if the cigar was priced at $2, it would be $2 too much. No cigar
should be as you described.

Agreed. However, some folks love to smoke cheap cigars and don't seem to
mind the harsh and off flavors. So for those folks, this DR at $2.00 might
fill the bill. It was better than the Thompson's Panatela that I found in my
humi a couple of nights ago. Even 9 years didn't help it much.
