Default J&S Humidor - anyone interested? (humidor)

Ok, ok, I know this isn't ASCM. I have a J&S 200 humidor that I am going to
part with. I could post on the marketplace or eBay but I thought I'd give
you guys here a shot at it. I'll put it up for grabs on eBay if need be but
I think the smokers here would understand it's value and appreciate it more.

It's the 200 count, unfinished. It's in perfect shape though there are some
small resin stains on the internal tray and dividers. It's one of the
better examples of the J&S and I think the grain quality is some of the best
I have seen. We're talking 1/2 inch solid mahogany, not a veneer. All
hinges, screws and lid retention included. As you all know this humidor is
no longer made. It's never been used and has been stored properly for the 6
years I've had it.

Make me an offer via email. I'm only interested in reasonable, fair bids.
I paid $250.00 for this puppy so I reserve the right to reject bids that
don't reflect a reasonable resale price. If my mental reserve is not met it
will go on eBay. Buyer pays actual shipping costs - this thing weighs like
10 pounds.

So email me your bids. I'll hold on to this until Monday morning at 8:00am
PDT.

Just to clarify and correct - it is made of 3/4 inch solid mahogany. And it
does not include hygrometer or humidification device.

Here's a page with a pic of the J&S along with tips for finishing it.
http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze43wza/Humidor.html

Eight years ago, I bought a very similar unfinished humidor, the W&W 200
Elite. After throughly sanding the exterior with 200, 400, and finally 600
grit sandpaper, I applied 6 coats of tung oil and 6 coats of polyurethane.
Although I now have most of my cigars in an Aristocrat Plus, I still use the
W&W with pride, not only because it works well, but because it shows off the
beauty of real wood.

Here are some pics of my W&W. The main difference between the W&W and the
J&S is that the top of the lid of the J&S is plainer.

The grain on the one I am selling is every bit as nice as that one. It'll
look fabbo when somebody does a proper job finishing it.
