http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze43wza/Humidor.html Eight years ago, I bought a very similar unfinished humidor, the W&W 200 Elite. After throughly sanding the exterior with 200, 400, and finally 600 grit sandpaper, I applied 6 coats of tung oil and 6 coats of polyurethane. Although I now have most of my cigars in an Aristocrat Plus, I still use the W&W with pride, not only because it works well, but because it shows off the beauty of real wood. Chuck |
