Hi Everyone;

This is going to be a busy weekend for me.

My sister was living with my parents for the past few months. While she
was there, she let my parents use her MacBook Pro to go online via DSL.
My parents had an old G4 Cube which I gave them years ago, but it died
right when my sister moved in. Weird coincidence. Anyway, my sister
moved out last weekend to her own place and she took her laptop with
her, which is no surprise, but now my parents are without a computer.

My dad called me twice this past week to ask me to set him up with a
Mac. Today is when I do that. My best friend has a Mac mini which he
gave to me yesterday to give to my parents as a gift. My buddy didn't
clear his data off this Mac mini or upgrade the OS so its current so
that's what I am about to do. I have a 17" LCD screen that's been
sitting around doing nothing, I will give it to my parents to use with
this Mac mini. I bought a mouse for it last night after work. I thought
I had a spare keyboard at home for it, but it turns out I don't so I
will buy one on the way to my parents' house. I am also going to take my
mom out for breakfast at a diner around the corner from the Toyota
dealership where I bought my Prius while it gets an oil change there and
whatever standard 25K mile maintenance is required.

Tomorrow is study day for me. I am going to spend most of the day
reading for graduate school, then maybe spend some time at the gym later
in the day.

In psychological circles, Troll Twinky Shane would be known as a
chronic confessor. His persistent and pathological need of crying out
for attention is well suited for a newsgroup troll (see the 1,000+
newsgroups where the inveterate, low-esteem, exhibitionist appears).

Hey, and how 'bout the sister finally moving out on the parents??
Ain't that some exciting news we've been waitin' so anxiously to
hear?? You would think after all that time of sponging off the
hospitality of her parents she'd find a way to leave them with a
computer. Appears as though selfishness and self-gratification runs in
the family. But then, why would we even consider a sister of Troll
Twinky Shane to be anything less than self-absorbed and self-serving.

Thanks for the unsolicited up date, needy-for-attention doofus. But
why here on this newsgroup? Why is a nonsmoker still so attached to,
addicted to, and obsessed with this newsgroup, Especially when you
have your other 1,000+ to cover. Why are you so hooked on Robert and
The BIG N? Have you figured that out yet, you mindless twit? LOL!

My sister would have probably let my parents keep her laptop, but she
needs it for work and she can't afford to buy another one right now.
Besides, I was able to set my folks up with a decent Mac mini today for
the price of a keyboard and mouse, so NBD.

figured that out yet? Oh, and you misspelled "up date." Its "update."
For someone who likes to criticize other people's spelling, you sure
make a lot of spelling mistakes.

It's good to see that you have the time and uncontrollable desire to
keep abreast of such matters on this(a smoker's) newsgroup. You are
truly a continuing source of bizarre behavior and unbridled neuroses.
Your own response has that usual resounding ring of defensiveness that
you so commonly exude. Bottom line, Twinky, this is a smoker's news
group and you be the troll. No getting away from it, nitwit, you're
hooked. LOL!

Btw, don't forget to provide some more personal up dates on the
exciting travails of the personal lives of your electrifying friends
and family. You've pretty much run the gamut on your own banal and
unimaginative existence. Only thing worse than an obsessed and
addicted neurotic troll is an obsessed and addicted neurotic troll who
is a dull and tiresome bore. LOL!
