Default Newbie - 'de-lurked' (cigars humidor)

or would that be un-lurked?

Have been lurking here for about a month. New to cigars for about 2 months.
Seems to be a lot of great info here. I was able to set up my new humidor by
reading the post and FAQ page on ICG. Still trying to find a favorite smoke.

Default Newbie - 'de-lurked' (cigar cigars humidor)

Welcome.

Once you find it, it will change so don't go out and buy a ton of
them. I made that mistake many years ago. The mood, the day, the
company can have a profound effect on how much you enjoy a cigar. When
you find something you really feel is just what you are looking for,
get 5-6 and smoke them over a week or two, and see if the "luster"
diminishes. If it doesn't, you can go for a bundle or box at a time.
Don't get two or three boxes because you have "found" the end all
cigar for your taste....it will probably change.

Certainly keep trying others, because the next might be your "new"
favorite. Many cigars are passed on to others because the sender no
longer smokes them. These are fine cigars, and does not diminish their
quality, or the generosity of the sender. It's just that they don't
smoke them anymore, and one person's humidor fodder may be another's
favorite. Also, many folks send some of their best, so if you are ever
gifted some of these cigars that you thought you might never see, let
alone smoke, and you decide these are your favorite, all bets are off
and you have joined the "dark side" :-) .

Welcome... and as far as finding "a favorite smoke", it'll take some time
for your tastes to mature and for you to discover exactly what YOU
enjoy the most.... I recommend smoking A LOT of cigars )))

Don't be a stranger.... contribute as well as lurk!

Clint
