Newbie Review: ISOM's Fonseca KDT and Cohiba Siglo III (cigar fonseca humidor)
Well went out last night for my lovely wife's 30th Bday bash...I
planned on bringing a couple of ISOMs but forgot the most important
one of all, a Cohiba Esplendidos (it was at the bottom of my humidor
and ofcourse I was in a rush to leave for the party)...Oh well,
there's always another day! On with the review....
Fonseca KDT: 1st, Thanks again Hutch! This little cigar packs so much
freaking flavor. I lit this one up when we first. I noticed some hints
of pepper and somewhat of a nutty flavor. I've seen a couple of posts
about this little gem and I'm hooked now. Some of the websites in
Spain seem to have good prices for them. I really enjoyed this cigar.
Cohiba Siglo III: I was expecting a power puch here like the fonseca
(this is my first Cohiba) but I didn't expect this cigar to be so
smooth. My pallet didn't detect a peppery taste but a very, very
smooth taste. I can't put into words on what the taste was like but
this cigar was so easy to smoke, not harsh nor too mild. It hit the
spot as far as my pallet goes. Such a good cigar.
I know my reviews suck and hopefully over the years I'll get a little
better but one thing is for sure, the love of smoking a fine handmade
cigar (ISOM or non ISOM) is one of the best things I can think of
doing. Life is short and life brings you joys and sadness but it also
brings good people together to enjoy a fine cigar.
Have a great weekend guys.
