Ole Arlington Cigar Shop, 827 NE Green Oaks Blvd, at Collins, in north
Arlington. Local store sales only, no mailorder. If you're in the DFW
area, stop in, 10-8 (usually later) M-Sat., 12-6 on Sun. We also have
the G****vine store, on G****vine Main street and Wall, as well as
Addison cigar, located in the Quorum area of North Dallas right off the
Tollway.

Just in, the new La Flor Dominicana Factory Press. $12.50 each. Full
bodied, strong cigar, but not overpowering. A very very good cigar. The
current talk of the market. We have a box of 120, starting to sell
quickly as word gets around.

We have a couple of the Fuente Don Carlos Holiday Samplers left. These
are sampler kits combined of regular sizes of Don Carlos, with one
special size only available in the sampler. Price around $92. Sadly, we
only got three of these, and three of the ten pack Fuente Holiday
sampler, which had the Anejo's, Opus X, Hemingway Maduro, and (holy
crap batman, two, count em, TWO) Fuente Double Chateau Sun Growns.
Those lasted about five minutes I was told. Thankfully, I got one,
sorry, had to gloat.

We also have the Ashton Holiday Samplers in. Ten and Five packs. The
five packs include a VSG, unlike the ten pack. (go figure) Priced from
around $50+ - 90+.

The La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados have been in for a week. Got a
good selection this year, including two sizes of Maduros. Prices range
from around $7-$11.

Rocky Patel The Edge "Lite", Belicoso and Toro sizes, $5.70 each

The new General Cigar Bolivar line. $6-$8. I was surprised, it's a good
full bodied smoke, smooth, burns well, not harsh at all, doesn't burn
hot.

Still some holiday stuff to come hopefully. CAO Soprano's are supposed
to ship on the 18th of this month. The Ashton VSG Wizard should be
shipping late November.

Get ready for the Holiday cigar buying frenzy, it's almost upon us.

Thanks

<snipping stock update>

Great shop y'all have in Arlington, and the folks in G****vine are
terrific as well, but if I ever set foot into the Addison shop again
it will only be to see friends during a crawl, and they won't see any
of my money. Rude, unknowledgeable, dishonest, and have a knack for
making a customer feel like an intrusion.

<snip the post>

I'm sure your shops are wonderful and all, but why post on Usenet when
you don't accept online or mailorder business? It's not cost-effective
for those of us in other states to fly to DFW to buy cigars.

Hutch is right on the money. I put a post on here every now and then
because there are a lot of people in the DFW area, (millions and
millions last time I checked) and the only money it costs is the time
it takes me to write it up. Obviously no one even had the idea that
anyone would actually fly into DFW. Like I mentioned "if you're in the
DFW area, check us out". There are lots and lots of online cigar
merchants for the mailorder business. We are a brick and mortar setup
with what we see, a large and loyal, local customer base. THAT is our
main buisiness, and to start running a lot of mailorder sales would
only limit selection to our most important market, the local one. My
listings here are for the local cigar smokers. But hey, if you're ever
in the area, stop in

Hutch, sorry to hear about the experience in Addison. The only person I
know from that store is the partner/ co owner, and he's always friendly
and very knowledgeable when we see each other or have worked the
G****vine store together during the main street festivals.

In other news, which is an obvious conlflict of interest (to us anyway)
is our mutual friend who is persona non grata downtown (wink wink)
appears to have actually picked a final resting spot for his place, and
another opening date of Jan has been set. I'll drop you an email
sometime with the info.
