Default Review: Gispert Toro (cigar)

Greatings All!

Gispert Toro
Wrapper: Ecuidor grown Connecticut
Binder: Honduran
Filler: Dom,Hon, Nic
Size: 6"x50
Source: Gifted by Mickey

Stage setting: Just back from a nice 25mile ride, Leftover chicken breast
for dinner. Cold Alaskian Amber Ale to wash it down. Listening to the talk
radio discusions on the results of the presidential debate.
Clipped the end and tasted/tested the draw: Easy draw, slightly nutty taste.
First third:Torched the critter and had a slight spice taste, Nice smoke.
Ash holds well untill I helped it fall at around 2". Very mild in taste, but
leaning towards medium body.
Second third: Very creamey, nice feeling on the tongue, still Mild w/medium.
Losing track of the time and paying more attention to the cigar and less to
the radio...
Final third: I am now checking out the normal sorces to see about ordering a
few more of these...I really like the creaminess, getting a stronger flavor
and fuller body. Where is my calipers with which to get the last bit of this
critter????? Nubbed it. Noticable nicotine kick, but not overpowering.
Smoking time apx 11/2 hour, enjoyed every inch. Many thanx Mickey, you hit
the nail on the head for me!! I will be getting some more of these!

Thanx for reading,
Garry N
Kent,WA
Recomended for those that like a mild/medium cigar

Thanks Garry. I've been wondering about those!

Thanks for the review! As for your "Stage setting"... 25 mile ride?!
I'm hoping that was either on a motorcycle or a horse, and not on a
bicycle? ;-)

Kudos on the Alaskan Amber. One of only two beers I drink (Guinness
is the other).

I love their Smoked Porter. Not something you want to drink every day,
but a classic beer. It's been a few years since I've had one. Doesn't
quite make it to Kansas!

Bicycle...
Up to 2500 miles this year, shooting for 3000 by end of December.
