Blended by Mr. Rubin and Nestor Plasencia, MAXX has a muscular mix of
Colombian, Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Mexican Ligero & Viso tobaccos,
plus a zesty Costa Rican binder. Capping it off is a luscious, dark
Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Once lit, you'll discover a tapestry of
sweet, woody, caramelized flavors with a trace of nutmeg on the
finish. It's very consistent, too. The flavors don't turn bitter or
stronger toward the end. With some extra aging - allowing all those
fine tobaccos to marry even further - these cigars should be divine.
