Got sent a few of these beasts by Hutch (cheers mate).......after a few
weeks to settle in the humi, I torched one while walking the dog the
other nite.

Apparently these are Davidoff seconds. If that's the case, I gotta try
one of the firsts. This was wonderfully creamy and smooth. Maybe some
hints of nutty flavour. Probably lacks the grunt or complexity to excite
the leather tongues, but suited this newbie down to the ground.

The best news was I've still got 3 of these suckers left :-)

YW...glad you enjoyed the first. One of the nice things about the
Kellner factory is that they will all be every bit as good.

I find the Private Stock's preferable to the Davidoff "firsts". I
don't know if the tobacco that Davidoff rejects from their cigars just
appeal to my taste buds and nose better, but I don't smoke too many
Davidoff's anymore. Especially with the difference in price between
the Davidoff and PS. ror

Agreed. While I still occasionally smoke a Davidoff with coffee in the
morning, it seems that the PS's have more "substance", while still
upholding the usual Kellner construction standards.
