Anyone have any opinion on JR Cigar's Montecuz Negra Cubana cigars in those
"Library Book" boxes?

Buy the cigar, not the box.

If you're a newbie, you'll probably like both.

About the same as the Mayorga High Octane.

Not bad "for the money"... but nothing to get all excited about.

I love these also. At the 2 for 1 price they are an exceptional value
IMHO.

Default Montecruz Negra ubana (corona coronas)

I got the Cuban Corona (5.62 x 46) and the Rubusto (4.75 x 50.)
I found I like the corona more. I find it has a little more bite
or spice to it. I assume this is from the wrapper being a larger
percentage of the blend in the smaller ring gage. The rubusto
just tastes a little flat. The only problem I've had with them
is an occasional void in the filler and burn problems that come
with it. For the 2 for 1 price I play on buying another box or
two of the coronas on my next order.

regards
Mike
