Hey all. Got back yesterday from a WONDERFUL week long cruise to the Mexican
Riviera. Wow is all I can say. The ship was gorgeous and the service was
TOP's.

Ate too much and too often but used the stairs the whole week.. Had a
wonderful cabin with a large window. It was so cool looking out at the ocean
when getting ready for the events of the day.

We spent the first day and a half at sea. Smooth sailing the whole time and
the weather was perfect. Spent the second day in the pool and jacuzzi ALL
day. Got a bit too hammered.... then went to the first of the 2 formal
dinners. Awesome food and as much as we wanted. Our waiter and assistant
waiter were fun and did a GREAT job.

2nd day we ported at Cabo San Lucas. Hot and humid there but beautiful. We
went out a shopped for a while then hit Cabo Wabo. It was jumping and we
****ed down Waborita's like they were going out of style. Ate a quick
lunch then off to the beaches. Just basically hung out at the beach and
drank buckets of Negra Modelo. Smoked a Cohiba Siglo II and enjoyed it to
the nub. Got offered pot 7 times......I must look like a stoner.

3rd Day we ported at Mazatlan. Again hot and humid but beautiful. Went to
the beaches via the shops. Didn't buy anything as the wife and I were
shopped out. Took a boat over to Deer Island. One stand that sold beer and
nothing else. Well nothing else other than warm water and clean beaches.
Also nobody trying to sell us the same ol crap. Spent 4 hours swimming and
drinking beer. Had a PSD4 while sunning. Man was that a good cigar. Got
offered pot 5 times in this port. One guy pulled the baggy out of the front
of his pants......ummmm no thanks.

Day 4 Ported in Puerto Vallarta. First thing I saw out of my window was
Sam's Club and WalMart. Was I back in America? Went shopping down the main
road. Bought a wallet at Rolling Stone and the wife picked up a few things.
Went to the "Blue Shrimp" to eat. had heard good things and they didn't
disappoint. Had huge blue shrimp and a lobster the size of my arm. Ate fresh
made Guacamole and just enjoyed it all.

Met up with our other couples (2 of them) and went parasailing. WOW what a
view. Had a good long ride but the guy wouldn't let me take the 5 year old
PAM I was smoking. Had to finish it when I landed. Bought 2 Coconut
head dudes that were smoking cigars. Totally cool and I plan on putting them
up when the pool is completed.

Day 5 and 6 back at sea. Did the pool thing and played beer pong...
Gambled a bit and saw the shows.

Went to the cigar lounge every night and made some new friends. Funny they
were selling Roly Seconds for 8-12 bucks. AF Chateau and Double Chateau were
8 bucks. Glad I brought 60 cigars with me. Passed them out and shared
with many.

didn't buy any cigars down there. Prices were outrageous. Wanted 18 bucks
for an SD4. NO WAY.

Recommend a Cruise for those who haven't taken one. Good to be home though.

PadronMan,

I'm heading to Cabo in a few weeks. When you say outrageous prices was that
on the ship or in the Cabo cigar shops? Anything worth checking out? I'll
be taking a few of my regulars down with me, but I'm on the lookout for
something special.

Welcome back PM! Sounds like you had a great time. A cruise is on my list of
things to do. Maybe once the wife and I get the kids out of the house! Of
course that leaves me about 15 years to plan it : )
