Review: Juan's Sampler (mexican)
I haven't heard anything from Juan since he sent the samplers out to jc88 a
while back.
Cigar: Yes
Size: 6x50-ish
Wrapper: Brown (EMS?)
Binder: Yes
Filler: Yes
I didn't make any notes on this particular set of three sample smokes that
were sent to jc88 by "Juan" and then distributed by jc88. This one was just
under 6" in length and around a 50-52 RG. Very nice construction, firm, and
no soft spots. Pre-light draw was juuuust right. I've been keeping these at
65%. It lit easily and produced a very nice volume of smoke. Definately on
the spicy side, it would go well with a full evening meal such as mexican or
thai, hot stuff. A port or cabernet would make a nice beverage
accompanyment.
Fairly one dimensional, it was definitely better than the el-cheapo, mud
flavored dog r^H^H^H^H^H^Hcigars I've been able to smoke for the last two
months. I liked it enough that I'd be willing to be an importer if I could
make enough money off them to support my cigar and motorcycle habits.
