Diamond Crown Maximus <Thanks TimL>

Well, monday night my buddy had a load going down to manhatten (He
drives truck) and asked if I wanted to go for the ride. So I did, we
left with 9 cigars. (I didn't select em, just grabbed gars that were
in bags in teh dor) and came back with three. Two stuck out in my
mind. I had a partagas black, which was way to strong for my liking,
and the DC maximus.

What a great smoke, good construction, great burn, nice flavors
(sorry, can't pick em out) And had a good nick kick to it. I had a
body buzz for quite a while after. I'd rate it a 9/10.

I'm glad I still have one in the dor to look forward to. Thanks Tim,
None of your package survived the trip between my buddy and I.

Ironically, right accross the street from where he got unloaded, and
we were from 2AM tuesday till 9:30 AM was a cigar bar, (cyber cigar
bar or somethin like that) They were closed the whole time. I thought
NYC is the city that never sleeps? hehe

Don't know what you think of other full bodied cigars, but if you let
the black age a bit, they are REALLY nice!

If, on the other hand, you just plain don't like them. Drop me an
e-mail along with a list of things you DO like -- I'd be happy to swap
with you

Thanks for the review! I have a couple of those to try as well.

Let the Partagas black sit a while. I had one when they were 1st released
that was awful, but tried it's sister after a year in the humi that was
pretty tasty. Then again, your taste could be different from mine.

I've only had two go through my hands so far. This one, which I don't
remember if it came from TimL or not (I think it did) & one that came
in a sampler that one of my other buddies picked to smoke.

The only thing I have any quantity of is AF Hemmingway signature. I
have a 75ct humidor full of various sticks, (the hemms are in another
dor) and the most I have of any brand are 3 opus *** & 3 Ashton VSG
enchantments. I'm waiting on these till later in my learning process.
(got em for age <g>) Since you all say these are great sticks, I don't
want to smoke these now and not be ready for em.

Try one of the Signatures now, they are good always IME. Don't need a lot
of experience to like them, trust me
