The last visit to one of my local B&M's, I saw they had a "new release"
promo setup for the Partagas Black Maximo. It's a tubed cedar-wrapped
partagas black at 6x50. At first glance, it shimmered of oil and it's tasty
treat. Most of the other PB's are 54 gauge which is a little thicker than I
normally smoke(I typically smoke 46-50 gauge).
I can't really say much outside it's a lot like any other PB. Strong hints
of cocoa...I think the ring gauge allows to concentrate the flavour a bit
better and the cedar adds a nice hint of flavour to it. In fact, I think
that really pushed the maximo just above the other's..
So all in all, it's a lot like the other PB's but with a bit more hint of
spice from the cedar. If you like the PB, you'll like these.
