A Days Work: Glenns Summer Pipes - Mombu the Cigars, Habanos and Pipes Forum

Today s work is a retrospective of pipes Glenn made this summer. He
tried his hand at a few things. My idea to make inexpensive
freehand ( Ben Wade style) pipes kind of fell flat . He made some
and just wasn t interested in it, tho it could have made some good
$$. We then went to repair. The trouble with repair is that no repair
is ever as good as the original pipe, since it couldn t be perfect he
didn t want to do it.. Kids.....

SO it s going to be making his own pipe designs at this point I guess.

How is his banjo playing coming along?

Really beautiful pipes, I did not realize pipe making was passed on
in the gene pool. Probably explains why I can't make a pipe like
those.
