Welcome here. I have seen you on a couple of Yahoo groups including
Smokers Haven, Cigar and Pipe Smoking Fathers (Now gone) and such.
Rick, this is a great place with great people. It doesn't always stick
to pipes here and some folks like it that way. It is a unique community.
Jump in and don't mind the off topic stuff if you don't want to read it, and
don't let anyone upset you.
Hope to hear from you often. You may even consider adding this to your

I'm here. Cable and DBS guy, pipe and cigar smoker. Central CT. We have not
enough smoke shops of any real quality it seems to me here. Most are simply
chasing the trendy interest in cigars without real knowledge of the market or
fine points and seem to cater too heavily to the casual cheap cigar smokers and
lotto players. I'd love to see a shop with a heavy Meerschaum and Calabash
selection in CT. Any more cheap briars and we'll violate some sort of law of
physics. You'd think even some Missouri Meerschaum corncob marketing would be
more common, but no...
