If you get an email from Ebay telling you that you need to log into your
account to update your info, it's a scam. Apparently Ebay slipped up for
about six hours last week by not masking ebay users' email addresses.
Scammers took quick advantage.

Actually,
I find it near impossible to believe that it is due to an eBay slip up.
There have been eBay and PayPal scams floating around for months. The
scammers are blind firing to any email address that they have in hopes
that somebody will click through and be stupid.

As a general rule of thumb, *never* respond to any attempt
from a web site to "update your information." Trust me,
they won't lose your login and password. I have been using
the internet since before the world-wide-web, and I have
never been asked by any web site to update my login etc.
If ever you receive one of these emails you should instantly
recognize it for the fraud that it is. Be skeptical!
