Default OT a fish story



I been learning to ty flies for about 3 wks now and been usen them
with some sorta success ...caught a few waleye and a couple a smaller
steelhead but tonight I almost lost my pipe landing this one a 26
incher and iam not sure how many lb's our scale here only goes to 5
lb's and it was over that easy I think closer to 7 lb'er :O)))))) !!!
this one didn't get away and I didn't lose my pipe landing it but that
was close :O)) I duno what would a been worse the good Savinelli
smoker I would a lost or losing the fish my first nice one on a fly I
tied myself :O))))))))) here is the link to the pic of the fish if ya
wana see its in the whats new sec of our site .... link below some
how pipes and fishen just seem to go toghrher... O and its a wild born
trout meaning not planted no cliped fin ....seeing as how its my first
real nice fish caught on a fly I tied myself iam gona have it mounted
not a big trophy.... but to me it is anyway as it was dumb enough to
eat one a my flys lol....now I wonder what thats gona cost me
errrrrrrrrrrr

congrats Guy!!! hell of a nice Steelie!

amazing when ya fool a fish into eating a chicken feather - especially
one ya make yourself eh? Jsut wait til you start making your own
rods.... lol

Oh yeah, lots of taxidermists around here are able to 'mount' a fish
from a picture these days - allowing one to either throw back the fish
to catch again - or take it home and eat it.

And managed to catch the same amount of fish this year as he did last year.

J-Man's last big catch was the waitress at Coopers Sea Food Restaurant.
